L'adresse bibliographique est contestée : de nombreux catalogues ont identifié A. Koberger à Nürnberg (HC, Pell, Polain, BMC, Pr, Oates et Goff). En revanche, l'ensemble des CRI et CIBN proposent "C. W." à Strasbourg et, parmi ces derniers, seul CRI XIII estime que Clas Wenker ou Konrad Wolfach peuvent se cacher derrière ces initiales
La date d'impression est elle aussi discutée : [circa 1471] (CRI III, CIBN) ; [non post 1471] (CRI XIII) ; [ante 25 III 1471] en raison d'une mention manuscrite datée du 25 mars 1471 sur l'exemplaire de la Bibliothèque de l'Institut (CRI VI et VII)
