Ce manuscrit a appartenu à la famille Tolosini de Florence (au f. 1, armes grattées "fascé ondé d'or et d'azur").
Il a fait partie de collections du pape Pie VI et figure au n° 30 des manuscrits saisis dans le cabinet du pape à Rome en 1798 (M.-P. Laffitte, "La Bibliothèque nationale et les "conquêtes artistiques" de la Révolution et de l'Empire", Bulletin du Bibliophile, 1989/2, p. 309-313).
