Parch., XVe s., I +243 ff. (pas de f. 88 par erreur; f. 1 blanc), 424 x 280 mm. Au f. 1 v°, frontispice du XVIe s. représentant César, assis devant un camp militaire et entouré de soldats; au f. 2, repeint sur une autre décoration grattée, encadrement architectural avec colonnes ornées de guirlandes d’or sur fond d’azur, le soubassement portant sur fond noir l’ex-libris en lettres d’or et les armes, titre en grandes capitales d’or probablement refait sur un autre titre gratté et initiale ornée à «bianchi girari ». Autres initiales à «bianchi girari ». Les premières lignes de chaque livre sont en capitales.

Possesseurs: au bas du f. 2, les armes grattées ont été recouvertes par celles de Geoffroy Carles (ca. 1460-1516), président du Parlement de Grenoble et du Sénat de Milan: de gueules au lion rampant d’or, et par son ex-libris: «DOMINI IAFREDI KAROLI PRESIDIS DELPHINATVS ET MEDIOLANI »; Jacques Bongars, d’Orléans, (1554-1612), qui signe au bas du f. 2 et au f. 243 v°: «Bongarsii »; bibliothèque palatine de Heidelberg (au f. I cote incomplète du transfert: C. 1/).
