Origine: italienne, écriture humanistique ronde régulière. D’après J. Ruysschaert, op. cit. infra, l’enlumineur serait Clemens de Urbino qui travailla pour Bonconti.
Possesseurs: Gilforte Bonconti, de Pise († 1462), juriste et trésorier de l’administration foncière curiale (cf. J. Ruysschaert, op. cit. infra, p. 249, n. 20) dont les armes: losangé d’argent et de sinople, sont peintes au sommet de la bordure latérale gauche du f. 1, soutenues par un «putto»; le cardinal Francesco Tedeschini Piccolomini (Pie III, † 1503), notes de sa main aux f. 248 et 259; les Théatins de S.-Silvestre au Quirinal à Rome dont deux timbres différents sont estampillés au bas du f. 1 (cf. supra, Reg. lat. 349).
