Recueil d'histoires des Prophètes composé pour ses compagnons (yārān) (f. 1v) par Aḥmad b. M. b. Manṣūr al-Arfaǧanī (?), à l'imitation de la Takmilat al-Laṭāʾif va Nuzhat al-Z̤arāʾif écrite en arabe par Abū M. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿUs̱mān Ǧasrī.
Une longue histoire de Joseph occupe les f. 60 à 153v. divisée en 40 maǧlis, terminés souvent Par une courte pièce en vers, et l'auteur dit l'avoir empruntée au maître (ustād) H̱wāǧa Imām Abū l-Qāsim Maḥmūd al-Ǧayhānī.
Faisant suite à celle de St. Georges (Ǧurǧīs) (f. 218), l'histoire de Muḥammad commence au f. 222 et le livre s'achève avec celle de Zayd (f. 276).

Manuscrit acquis au Caire pour 4 piastres par Wansleben (dont le timbre figure au f. 1v et à la dernière garde) et envoyé par lui à la Bibliothèque royale en août 1673. , Une notice signée d'Armain (n° 226) est insérée en tête.
