Origine: napolitaine, écriture humanistique ronde. Le copiste Pietro Ursuleo de Capoue († 1483) (cf. supra, Barb. lat. 108), signe au f. 214: «Puto me prout in exemplari hoc exemplum transcripsisse: nec scriptorem criminari uelitis legentes si qui fueritis: Cum uero emendatius dabitur exemplar ueraciorem et emendatiorem preposita mercede optima Plautum transcribam. Valete et uirtuti fauete. PETR. VRSVLEVS.»; quelques notes marginales sur le texte sont rubriquées de sa main notamment au f. 37 v°: «Quintus actus deficit — hactenus reperta haec est fabula» et au f. 82: «In multis codicibus Aulularia octaua est».
Possesseurs: Guido Bonatti, clerc de Mantoue, secrétaire apostolique en 1475 († vers 1494), dont l’ex-libris est au bas du f. 1, dans un cercle préparé pour des armes non exécutées: «Hic liber est Guidonis Bonacti»; le cardinal Barberini (n° antico 2161).
