Parch., XVe s. (a. 1410 ?), I + 101 ff. (f. 96 v°-101 v° blancs), 214 x 145 mm. Au f. 1, bordure à «bianchi girari» ornée d’un oiseau et d’un vase. Quelques gloses marginales de la main du copiste.

dans la marge droite du f. 81, où commence le liv. VI dans certains manuscrits, note rubriquée: «Sunt qui dicunt hic incipere quintum librum».
Origine: italienne (Florence), écriture humanistique cursive. Le manuscrit aurait été écrit en 1410 par Pietro Ciacchi de Florence, qui signe au f. 96: «Hic liber expletus fuit a me Petro Ieronimi Bernardi de Ciachis ciuis flo‹r›entinus [sic] quarto nonas martii MCCCCX». D’après Ullman, op. cit. infra, le manuscrit semble plus tardif, de 1440 ou de 1460, le copiste aurait oublié un L avant ou après l’X.
Possesseurs: au bas du f. 1 armes grattées où l’on croit distinguer un chevron; Mainardo Cavalcanti de Florence, dont l’ex-libris au f. I paraît refait d’après l’ex-libris gratté au f. I v°, en partie lisible aux rayons ultra-violets: «Hic liber est Mainardi de Cavalcantibus et Amicorum» (XVIe s.); le cardinal Barberini (n° antico 2604).
