Ce manuscrit, copié dans le dernier tiers du XVe siècle par Andronicos Callistos, a appartenu à Carlo Strozzi dont le nom apparaît dans la marge supérieure du f. 1r : καρόλου τοῦ στροζίου. Cette même main est responsable du pinax collé au verso du dernier folio de garde antérieure. Ce manuscrit a fait partie de la bibliothèque du cardinal Ridolfi. Il portait la cote 49, inscrite sur le recto du dernier folio de garde antérieure. Sur ce même folio on trouve la cote 21, qui est celle de ce témoin dans l’inventaire de 1589. Cette cote se retrouve sur le dos de la reliure.Après la disparition du cardinal, les manuscrits de sa bibliothèque sont transmis à Pierre Strozzi puis à la reine Catherine de Médicis. Sa bibliothèque est intégrée dans la Bibliothèque royale, après l’achat de Henri IV, en 1599.
