Origine: italienne, écriture humanistique ronde.
Possesseurs: le cardinal Giordano Orsini († 1438) dont l’ex-libris rubriqué est au f. 177: «Liber Q. Curtii de b‹ello› Alexandri Ma‹gni› domini Jordani de Ursinis»; le manuscrit a été acheté en 1542 à Budapest par un Allemand qui ne donne que ses initiales (?) d’après la note du f. I: «1542. Kauft für 10 reichesthaler die 11 maii Budae Hunghariis (?) ME. L.B.A.B.»; le cardinal Barberini (n° antico 859).
