Parch., XIVe s., I +218 ff. +1 f., 2 col., 395 x 260 mm. Au f. 1, initiale de couleur sur fond d’or se prolongeant dans les marges par des feuilles d’acanthe bleues, vertes, rouges et mauves et initiales enluminées à feuilles d’acanthe au début de chaque livre. Foliotation ancienne et, au f. I v°, table du contenu de la main de Tommaso Tani.

texte suivi f. 218 v° d’une note sur les livres perdus: «Inter decem precedentes et decem sequentes libros... libri primi de bello Macedonico » (éd. d’après le ms. Valence, Bibl. Univ. 173 (XIVe s.), f. 102 v° col. 1, G. Billanovich, op. cit. infra, p. 266-267).
Origine: italienne, écriture gothiques, assez grosses et rappelant la «bononiensis » au début, plus petites et arrondies à la fin.
Possesseurs: les héritiers de Giacomo del Fornaio (début XVe s.), qui ont mis le manuscrit en gage en 1402 et 1403, d’après trois notes en hébreu au f. [219 v°], dont voici la traduction: 1) «Eredi di me‹sser› Giacomo del Fornaio, 10 fiorini et 35 de‹nari›, 24 dicem‹bre› 1402, 171 » -2) «Pago e retiro il pagno me‹sser› Michele di Nicolo, 22 marzo 1403 » -3) «Venceslao di me‹sser› Giacomo, 9 fiorini d’oro, 25 maggio 1403, a c‹arte› 278, libro loro »; Giannozzo Manetti; Ulrich Fugger (au f. I v° cote incomplète: 18 ‹Man.›; bibliothèque palatine de Heidelberg (au f. I cote ancienne: 91, et cote du transfert: C. 44/1535).
