Parmi les armoiries dessinées sur les tissus portés par les héros figurent les grandes familles lombardes. Au feuillet 2, écu armorié incorporé au décor marginal correspondant au blason de plusieurs grandes familles. Entré avant 1426 dans la Bibliothèque des Visconti Sforza à Pavie , au feuillet 161 titre de la main habituelle du bibliothécaire de Pavie : « «Liber Tristiani in gallico. Lig. » (voir Manuscrits enluminés d’origine italienne). Saisi par Louis XII en 1498, au feuillet 161, mention « pavye au roi Louis XIIe » Librairie royale de Blois .
