titre: «Sili Ytalici punicorum liber primus Incipit».
à la fin: «Explicit liber XVII Sili Ytalici Deo gratias. Amen».
Origine: italienne (lombarde ?), écriture humanistique primitive semi-cursive, un peu anguleuse avec a cursifs.
Possesseur: acquis pendant le règne de Sixte IV († 1484), le manuscrit est attesté dans les inventaires de 1475, 1481 (f. 40, l. 17), 1518 (f. 18, l. 28), 1533 et 1550 (où il portait le n° 810, qui figure encore sur une étiquette de parchemin collée au milieu du f. 179: «SYLVIUS [sic] ITALICUS. 810»).
