HISTOIRE – Le volume a appartenu à Gilles de Noailles (1524-1600), conseiller au parlement de Bordeaux, ambassadeur en Angleterre, en Pologne et à Constantinople, évêque non résidant de Dax (f. 83, signature en guise de marque de possession). Le numéro XLIV au f. 1 indique la place du volume dans la section grecque du catalogue provisoire établi peu après juillet 1753 (Archives Ancien Régime 71, f. 89v ; cf. Suppl. gr. 6). Estampille de la Bibliothèque royale (XVIIIe s.) aux ff. 1 et 83v (type Josserand-Bruno 13).
