Origine: italienne, écriture humanistique cursive. Le copiste identifié par G. M. Cagni, I codici Vaticani..., avec Agnolo, fils de Giannozzo Manetti, alors âgé de douze ans, signe et date au f. 166 v°: «SCRIPTVS MANV MEI ANGELI MILLESIMO QVADRINGENTESIMO QVADRAGESIMO QVARTO »; au f. 167 v° note de correcteur ou de réviseur «die XVIII mai 1448 ».
Possesseurs: Giannozzo Manetti; Ulrich Fugger (au f. II v° cote incomplète: 117 ‹Mane.›); bibliothèque palatine de Heidelberg (au f.
