Origine: italienne, peut-être Rome d’après la décoration qui rappelle le style d’Andrea de Florence, écriture humanistique ronde.
Possesseurs: le cardinal Francesco Tedeschini-Piccolomini († 1503) dont les armes ont été ajoutées au f. 1; le cardinal Fabio Chigi dont les armes sont dorées sur la reliure (cotes ancienne 569, moyenne 2016).
