(ff. 1r-291v) Eustathe de Thessalonique, Commentaire à l’Iliade, chants I-IX, éd. M. Van der Valk, Eustathii archiepiscopi Thessalonicensis commentarii ad Homeri Iliadem pertinentes, Leiden, Brill, 1971-1987 : [titre] Ἐξήγησις εἰς τὰ πρῶτα τῆς Ἰλιάδος Ὁμήρου βιβλία Εὐσταθίου τοῦ θεσσαλονίκης.
Ce témoin est le premier tome d’un commentaire à l’Iliade d’Eustathe copié par Georgios Alexandrou, le second tome étant le Paris. gr. 2694. Le manuscrit a fait partie de la bibliothèque du cardinal Ridolfi, où il portait la cote 38 parmi les manuscrits de contenu grammatical. La notice de Matthieu Devaris se trouve au centre du recto du dernier folio de garde antérieure. Après la disparition du cardinal, les manuscrits de sa bibliothèque sont transmis à Pierre Strozzi puis à la reine Catherine de Médicis. Sa bibliothèque est intégrée dans la Bibliothèque royale, après l’achat de Henri IV, en 1599.
