Origine: italienne, écriture très régulière.
Possesseurs: bibliothèque capitulaire de Vérone, d’après G. Billanovich, Nella biblioteca del Petrarca... ; Francesco Petrarca (1304-1374), qui en a fait faire en 1356 à Vérone une copie (Paris, Bibl. nat., lat. 5816); possesseur inconnu du XVe s., qui a inscrit une note au bas du f. 216 v°: «CCXV cart. »; une copie du manuscrit a été faite pour Poggio Bracciolini (Florence, Bibl. Riccard. 551); Giannozzo Manetti, qui l’aurait acheté par l’intermédiaire de Vespasiano da Bisticci (cf. G. M. Cagni, Vespasiano da Bisticci...); Ulrich Fugger (au f. I v° cote incomplète: 82 ‹Mane›); bibliothèque palatine de Heidelberg (au f. I cote du transfert: C. 133/1600).
