Résumé : CCCC MS 82 is a copy of c. 1425-50 of the Latin sermons on the Gospels for the Sundays of the Church year by Philip Repingdon OSA (c. 1345-1424). He was initially a follower of John Wyclif, but on being excommunicated for upholding Wycliffite teachings in 1382, he recanted. Subsequently in 1393 he became abbot of Leicester, chancellor of the University of Oxford (1400-3) and Bishop of Lincoln (1405-20).
