Origine: italienne, écritures humanistiques ronde (f. 1-50), semi-cursive (f. 51-70) et cursive (f. 71-114 v°). Le copiste des f. 71-114 v°, Gabriel della Torre (?) a signé aux f. 114 v°-115:
«Turrius hoc Gabriel carisque ascrissit amicis
Que spectas Paphium candide lector opus
Ut deius (?) ut nomen uiuat ut scripta Propertii
Sitque operis tanti copia lector haue.
Finis per me Gabrielem».
Possesseurs: Guido Bonatti († 1494 ?) qui signe au f. 126: «Ego Guido Bonattus affirmo ut supra»; Antonio Bardella, qui signe au f. II: «Antonius Bardella»; le cardinal Fabio Chigi (cotes ancienne 1214, moyenne 2225).
