Origine: italienne (romaine ?), écriture humanistique cursive.
Possesseurs: la famille Maffei de Rome dont le blason (noirci) est peint au bas du f. 1 (cf. supra, Ottob. lat. 1505); le cardinal Sirleto (correspondrait au n° 186 de son catalogue Vat. lat. 6163, f. 320 v°).
