Possesseur: le pape Nicolas V (1447-1455), dont les armes: de gueules à deux clefs d’argent en sautoir sont ajoutées au bas du f. 1, surmontées de la tiare pontificale et entourées de son nom en lettres jaunes sur fond bleu: «NICOLAVS PAPA QVINTVS + », il serait l’auteur d’une partie des notes; le manuscrit est attesté dans les inventaires de 1455, 1475 (éd. p. 225, l. 10), 1481 (f. 40v°, l. 5), 1518 (f. 18v°, l. 10), 1533 et 1550 (où il portait le n° 806).
