    • Alexandre, un copiste probablement d'origine anglaise, actif à l'abbaye de Saint-Bertin à Saint-Omer sous les abbatiats successifs de Leoninus (1138-1163) et Godescalc (1163-1176) et dont l'écriture s'est imposée comme un modèle dans le scriptorium de Saint-Bertin. Il signe son nom dans le colophon de Boulogne-sur-Mer, BM 53. Cf.
