    • 72 folios, on vellum; 72 folios 8vo. 16 × 13 cm. On vellum. Modern binding. A very beautifully written uncial manuscript in Latin with elaborate capitals in red and blue, with paragraph-marks alternately red and blue. There are marginal annotations by several different hands, one of which, very neat, is contemporary or nearly so. The others are cursive and are later additions. The script and composition indicate fifteenth century date, and the scribe was probably an Italian. The original text has no heading, but the following titles have been added on f. 1 by two later hands: 'Dietae Vniversales Constantini-Isaacus Judaeus de Vrinis-Tractatus de Cibariis-deest initium'. folios 3, 10, 55 and 56 are damaged, and several others are water-stained. When the manuscript was first bound, the binder shaved the edges, carrying away part of the marginal notes.
