Gloses marginales à peu près contemporaines, empruntées notamment à «BOETIVS» (f. 1v°), à «SERVIVS super uirgilium » (f. 17), à «PAULVS ex libro FESTI POMPEII ad Karolum » (f. 30v°) et à «GRATIVS» (f. 44v°). Les feuillets de garde I et 52 proviennent d’un missel plénier de la première moitié du Xe s., en écriture anglo-saxonne.

Stella, op. cit. infra, p. 282-286, qui identifie l'auteur comme étant probablement un moine de la fin du XIe siècle, ayant fait ses études à Saint-Bertin: il pourrait être identifié aussi avec un doyen de Cambrai ou avec le futur abbé de Saint-Martin de Tournai (1109-1126).
Origine: peut-être l’abbaye bénédictine Saint-Pierre au Mont-Blandin à Gand, écriture caroline régulière plutôt anguleuse.
Possesseurs: l'abbaye bénédictine Saint-Pierre au Mont-Blandin à Gand, dont l'ex-libris, gratté, se lit partiellement au f. 1 : «liber sancti Petri Gandensis ecclesie Seruanti bedictio [sic] tollenti maledictio Qui folium ‹ex eo tuler›it uel ‹curtau›erit anathema ‹sit› »; autres ex-libris aux f. 1v° et 2: «LIBER S‹AN›C‹TI› PETRI DE BLANDINIO MONASTERIO» et 3: «Liber sancti Petri ecclesie de monte blandinio »; Fulvio Orsini († 1600).
