Comedia : Inferno (B-28) ; Purgatorio (30-58v) ; Paradiso (60-88v), avec rubriques en latin et commentaires interlinéaires et marginaux tirés pour la plupart du commentaire de Benvenuto da Imola. Au f. 5r, le scribe du commentaire cite également Francesco da Buti : "Et hec est intentio, secundum magistrum Franciscum de Bucteio, Pisanum, sed prima littera secundum magistrum Benevenutum de Ymola" (voir M.-L. Tanganelli, Censimento dei commenti danteschi..., p. 962).

Au f. A, ex-libris gratté de Paolo Salvatore Aurispa, fils adoptif de Giovanni Aurispa : " est Paulo filius (sic) Io Aurispa". Ce manuscrit corrrespond au n° 10 de l'inventaire de la bibliothèque de Paolo Aurispa dressé en 1461 (cf. A. Franchescini, Giovanni Aurispa e la sua biblioteca, Padoue, 1976, p. 89). En 1464, il fait don de sa bibliothèque au monastère San Giorgio di Ferrare lors de son entrée. Ces ouvrages sont vendus alors à Ludovico Carbone, professeur de rhétorique et poésie à l'université de Ferrare. Ce manuscrit a par la suite appartenu au cardinal Giovanni Battista Deti (voir notes sur le f. A).
L'ouvrage a fait partie des collections du pape Pie VI et figure au n° 36 des manuscrits saisis dans le cabinet du pape à Rome en 1798 (M.-P. Laffitte, "La Bibliothèque nationale et les "conquêtes artistiques" de la Révolution et de l'Empire", Bulletin du Bibliophile, 1989/2, p. 309-313).
