Parch., XVe s. (vers 1464), II + 188 ff. (f. 11-16 v° blancs), 405 x 282 mm. Au f. 1, bordure à «bianchi girari» parsemée d’animaux: paon, cerfs, cigale, sauterelle, papillons, chouette... et d’anges musiciens, avec à droite une tête de femme coiffée d’un chapeau; initiale historiée représentant Pline habillé de rouge, tenant un livre sur sa poitrine. Titres en lettres d’or et bleues, nombreuses initiales à «bianchi girari».

la fin du liv. I manque, les f. 11-16 v° sont blancs.

expl.: «... insidie in lapidem transfigurari» (XIII, fin).
Origine: italienne, écriture humanistique ronde. L’enlumineur est un certain Benedictus, qui inscrit son nom en lettres d’or dans l’encadrement de l’initiale du f. 1: «1464. BENEDICTVS F‹ECIT ?›».
Possesseurs: au f. I v°, la date: «Aprili 13 anno 1468» est une addition plus récente; Giacomo Gallo († 1618), dont les armes surmontées d’une croix tréflée ont été ajoutées au bas du f. 1 (cf. supra, Barb. lat. 162-163) et dont les initiales «I.G.» se trouvent au f. I v°; le cardinal Barberini (n° antico 758).
