Origine: italienne (Rome ?), belle écriture humanistique ronde. L’enlumineur Jacopo da Fabriano, qui travailla à Rome pour Pie II, a inscrit sa signature: «IACOBI DE FABRIANO» à droite des armes dans la bordure du f. 1 sur un phylactère tenu par un «putto».
Possesseurs: Probablement Gilforte Bonconti, juriste de Pise († 1462) pour lequel travailla Jacopo da Fabriano (cf. Ruysschaert, op. cit. infra); le cardinal Francesco Tedeschini-Piccolomini, dont les armes sont peintes au f. 1 surmontées d’un chapeau; le cardinal Fabio Chigi, dont les armes sont dorées sur le dos de la reliure (cotes ancienne 535, moyenne 2015).
