Origine: française, écriture cursive anguleuse, décoration de style français.
Possesseurs: peut-être Nicolas Hory de Reims (ou Jean Gagny ?) d’après la lettre copiée aux f. 1-4 ; Jacques Leschassier (1550-1625), avocat au Parlement de Paris puis substitut au procureur général, dont l’ex-libris un peu effacé est lisible aux rayons ultra-violets, f. I v°: «Ex Libris Jacobi Leschassier»; Jean Bourdelot et l’abbé Pierre Michon Bourdelot, f. 1 en haut: «Bourdelot» (correspondrait (en partie ?) au n° 174 de leur catalogue qui ne mentionne pas Cicéron); Reine Christine de Suède (cote 1810 au f. I).
