Ouvrage dû à « un anonyme de la Société de Jésus » (cf. ms. de St. Pétersbourg) [= il s’agit en fait du P. Aimé Chézaud S.J. (1604-1664), alias Pādrī Ḥabīb, missionnaire à Iṣfahān , comp. à Suppl. persan 12 et 910 ;du P. Chézaud, -cf.. F. Richard, « Le Père Aimé Chézaud controversiste et ses manuscrits persans », Nâme-ye Bahârestân, 2006 ( ?), sous presse- semblent aussi provenir Vaticano persiano 36, daté de 1066H./1656, un dictionnaire italen-arabe de 250 pages signalé dans la vente Honorat à Grenoble le 11 juillet 1853, et les ms. Suppl. persan 66 et 2144 de la BnF]. L’ouvrage a été composé en 1656 pour répondre au Miṣqal-i Ṣafā de Mīr Sayyid Aḥmad b. Zayn al-‛Ābidīn al-‛Alavī al-‛Āmilī al-Iṣfahānī (cf. Supplément persan 11). Achevé le jour de Noël 1656 (f. 262v), il est dédié (cf. ms. St. Pétersbourg) à Mīrzā [Muhammad ‛Abd al-] Ḥasīb [b. Aḥmad b. Zayn al-‛Ābidīn al-‛Āmilī al-‛Alavī al-Fāṭimī (m. 1121H./1710)]. Copie du second tome (qism), contenant une préface (f. 1v), un discours préliminaire (f. 8), 3 faṣl (f. 23v, 60 et 225) et une conclusion (hātimat) (f. 261).
